The Crank Handle Brewery, provides craft/ traditional beers such as larger, ale, APA, porter and bitter made with the purest of alpine water. The brewery, located on the Kiewa Valley Highway in Tawonga South, also serves lunch and dinner Friday to Sunday.

SWIMMING
If swimming is on the agenda, Mount Beauty is surrounded by rivers and hidden swimming holes, tucked away on the east and west branches of the Kiewa River, and downstream where the two branches join the Pondage. For less confident swimmers there are lots of shallow river beds to paddle in and a supervised swimming pool. The pool is open between November and April.

SKIING
For skiing enthusiasts, Falls Creek Alpine Resort is conveniently located 31 km from Mount Beauty. Everything you need to complete your skiing experience can be obtained in the local township of Mount Beauty, ski gear, chains and transfer, parking tickets.
Getting to Falls Creek is easy and convenient. You can choose to travel by car (chains must be carried), by private transfer Mount Beauty Transfers and or by bus. The Falls Creek Coach Services has regular daily services to Falls Creek, from Mount Beauty, Albury, Melbourne and Adelaide.
FISHING
Mount Beauty and the surrounding towns in the Kiewa Valley are indeed fantastic destinations for fishing, especially for trout. The area's rivers, particularly the Kiewa River, offer some of the best trout fishing opportunities in Australia, attracting both locals and anglers from further afield.

The Mount Beauty Golf Club offers an idyllic golfing experience with an 18-hole course nestled in the stunning Australian Alps and Kiewa Valley. Spanning 6,025 meters, this par 72 course presents a delightful challenge for seasoned golfers, yet remains accessible for beginners, with a scratch rating of 71. Visitors can easily access the course, with rentals for clubs, golf bags, and pull buggies available from the licensed clubroom. After a round, the back deck is a peaceful spot to unwind, and the bar is open on competition days, making it a perfect venue to enjoy both the game and the spectacular surroundings.
GLIDER FLIGHTS
Mount Beauty Gliding Club offers an exciting and unique opportunity to experience the stunning views of Mount Bogong from the sky! Visitors can enjoy a thrilling flight in a two-seat, non-motorized glider alongside experienced pilots. The flights provide a bird's-eye view of Victoria's majestic mountain landscapes, particularly the rocky outcrops of Mount Bogong.
The best time for flying is from September to April, which suggests that the weather conditions during this period are ideal for safe and enjoyable gliding. The club welcomes visitors, allowing them to share in this adventure for a nominal fee.
