THE PROPERTY
Nestled in the heart of Victoria’s high county, Mount Beauty is a charming picturesque town within the Alpine Shire located at the base of Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain at the southern end of the Kiewa Valley, offering stunning natural landscapes and outdoor activities year round. Montanya is located 4 km from the township of Mount Beauty. The scenic walk to town is mostly flat, taking about 45 minutes. Mount Beauty offers a perfect blend of tranquillity, adventure and convenience to cafes, restaurants, shops, and restaurants and pubs.
OVERVIEW
Accommodation: Montanya offers a welcoming home away from home experience, fully equipped with all essential cooking, bathroom, laundry and cleaning amenities to ensure your stay is a comfortable and convenient. Montanya can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests.
Main House: Designed for cozy, family-friendly living with two comfortable bedrooms, a fully serviced kitchen and integrated bathroom and laundry, for added convenience. The dining and sitting area provides the perfect spot to relax, with easy access to the balcony where stunning uninterrupted views of Mount Bogong will take your breath away.
Pool House: For extra space and privacy, the Pool House is a fantastic addition for older children, and extended family members. It includes a double bed and a lounge area with a double sofa bed, to accommodate extra guests. It also boasts its own bathroom, heating and cooling and entertainment ( TV and Wi-Fi). For winter enthusiasts, the Pool House offers a drying room to store and dry ski gear after a day on the slopes.
Special Features: Exclusive access to the pool and pool house (fenced for added security). Luxury pool lounges. Indoor/ outdoor lighting and entertainment system.
Wi-Fi & Technology: High speed Wi-Fi with unlimited download option, Bluetooth indoor/ outdoor stereo and a Smart TV with streaming capacity.
Parking: Guests can park in the carport provided ( one car) or via street parking. Currently we do not have charging options for EV vehicles. Charging facilities are available in the Mount Beauty township.
Accessibility: Guests can self-access the property via the lock box/ code, provided by the property owners. Older adults and disabled guests may experience challenges navigating the steps to the main house and the Pool House.

Bedroom Comfort: High level comfort. Luxurious linen, (doona/cover, pillows) reinforced doonas for winter warmth. Sheets and towels are available but need to be negotiated with the property owner. Bedrooms have blackout curtains, and spacious wardrobes. Heating.
Bathrooms: Recently renovated. Integrated laundry. Heated towel rails. Spacious bath. Complimentary high quality personal care products (Appelles) Heat globes.
OUTDOOR FEATURES
Balconies/Terraces: Exclusive uninterrupted views of Mount Bogong. Table and seating for 4. Extra extendable dining table for 8 poolside. Pool lounges. Weber barbeque.
Pool: Summer pool ( November- April) Fully tiled, salt chlorinated. Privacy screening.
Pet-Friendly Policies: Pets only with agreement from property owners.
Family-Friendly Amenities: Games, books, activities. Port-a-cot, high chair.
ACCESS
Kiewa Valley Highway: From Albury/Wodonga , this route follows the Kiewa River through the Valley and offers scenic views (85 km) The closest airport is Albury.
Tawonga Road: From Bright, this route crosses from the Ovens Valley to the Kiewa Valley and offers spectacular views at the Tawonga gap and Sullivans Lookout. The distance from Bright to Mount Beauty is 32 km.
