Life is Tough!

If skiing is your passion, as it is mine, then staying at Mount Beauty can be a convenient and cheaper option , as opposed to on mountain accommodation, which can be fairly costly. The local township of Mount Beauty is well set up to service participants skiing needs; providing options for chain hire, ski hire and on mountain passes. The drive up the mountain is not a difficult one and takes approximately 40 minutes from the Mount Beauty township to the Falls Creek car park; don’t forget to carry your chains. We trailed it last weekend and found that we were on the slopes no later than 9.30 am, ready to make the most of the beautiful day , the well-groomed cover of snow and the variety of runs available at Falls Creek. Personally , I think we got the pick of the weekends; mother nature turned on a glorious sunny day for us. 

At the end of the day we were back in the township of Mount Beauty, enjoying a nice glass of red and a home cooked meal in the comfort of Montanya, with the beautiful snow-capped mountains visible from the decking as a reminder of the amazing day spent skiing. Life can be tough for some.
