FAQs

  • What is included in the rental price?
    The rental price includes accommodation, utilities (electricity, water, etc), exclusive access to the pool, pool house and all amenities, bedding, bathroom products, and cleaning after checking out. As a courtesy to guests, Montanya also supplies luxury bathroom toiletries (Appelles).
  • Is the pool heated?
    The pool is not heated and is available exclusively to guests during the summer months from November – April.
  • What time is my check in and check out?
    Check in is 2:00pm Check out is 10:00 am Early check in and late check out can be negotiated with the property owner provided it does not impact other guest bookings and cleaning schedules. Guests can self-check in to Montanya via a provided lockbox. The code will be provided to guests prior to their stay.
  • Is there a security deposit required?
    A security deposit of $500 will be required to cover any damage during your stay. This will be refunded after your check-out, provided no damage or excessive cleaning is required.
  • Are pets permitted at the property?
    Pets are not permitted at Montanya, unless otherwise approved by the property owner.
  • Are there any additional fees?
    Additional fees may apply for excess cleaning and or for additional guests beyond four. Guests are encouraged to leave the property clean and tidy to avoid excess cleaning costs. Visitors are welcome at Montanya, but additional overnight guests must be declared to the property owner. Additional fees may apply.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
    Montanya has a firm cancellation policy. This means that 100% of your payment will be refunded 60 days prior to check-in. 50% will be refunded 30-60 days before check in . Otherwise, there will be no refund. The property owner understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise and is always happy to negotiate with guests and/or provide an alternative date for guests to stay at the property.
  • Do I need to bring my own linen?
    All beds are provided with pillows and high quality doonas with covers. Sheets and towels are available for an additional fee. Please contact the property owner to discuss your requirements.
  • What sort of heating and cooling does the property have?
    Montanya has excellent all year-round heating and cooling. The Main House has a reverse cycle heating and cooling system. There is also a gas heater that provides instant heat for guests during the winter months. The bedrooms have wall heaters that provide extra warmth and comfort. The Pool House has a reverse cycle heating and cooling system. There is also a drying room that generates additional heat during the winter months.
  • Is there a minimum stay requirement?
    There is a 2-day minimum stay requirement for guests and during public holiday weekends, the minimum stay extends to 3 days.
  • What food supplies, products and services are available in Mount Beauty?
    Mount Beauty is well serviced with a supermarket, bakery, butcher, chemist, hardware supplies, and a medical/ general practice.
  • Is there capacity for me to charge my electric vehicle (EV)
    Montanya does not have provisions to charge EV’s however the service station in town has electric charging stations.
